namaste Hello and welcome! Come in and stay for a bit. So glad you're here. I am finally posting a blog after all these years. I so enjoy visiting other photo blogs -- it's a great way to share some of my recent work with you and other announcements not on my main portfolio site.

Just so you know and so I get to include lots of keywords -- my name is Robyn Davis Skwarczek and I am a Los Angeles (and occasionally Chicago and other locales) baby photographer, child photographer and maternity photographer who specializes in casual, natural light maternity photography, baby photography and children's portraits. In short, I have one of the best jobs on the planet.

Thank you for visiting! Take a gander, leave a comment and tune in again real soon for the new wacky episodes and goings-on around here.  - Robyn

profile.jpgTotally addicted to her craft and in business since 2001, Robyn mostly likes to take pictures of people. She really likes taking pictures of them hanging out at home. Or at least somewhere they love to be. Surrounded by their most favorite family, friends or stuff. Wearing things they love to wear. Preferably in fantastic light.

She specializes in photos of children because they are usually the coolest type of people, despite how much extra dirty laundry they generate.

In fact, she likes people so much that she made two of her very own, who are now 7 and 9 years old. She hopes she's a good mom but knows that at the very least, they are well documented.

Robyn married her co-producer of this romantic comedy on April Fools Day, ten years ago. Dave is a writer/producer/artist guy who creates kids shows and entertainment for kid-like adults.

They recently ran away from their responsible suburban Chicago lives with their two kids and escaped to Laurel Canyon in LA . They are rumored to be living in bliss, even though they have no grand plan (other than to make art and get more of that homemade coconut ice cream down at the Canyon Country Store).

Robyn considers the final editing of her work to be an important ingredient in making the image feel just like it felt to her when she captured it. She gives individualized time and consideration to each finished image she presents.

A recovering graphic designer and crafter, she adores creating multiple shot arrangements, artist collaborations, custom art, storyboards & books to best capture personalities and great memories.
